Howl Brewing is an independently owned and operated nano brewery, located in Esquimalt,BC. We opened in June 2018, although the project was in the works for a couple years. Our focus is small batch high quality craft beer made from BC grown ingredients. Our ever changing menu is often dictated by what is available locally. Being a small brewery, customers can look forward to trying beer styles that are obsolete, beer that showcases local farms, traditional styles, as well as learn about beer from the staff. We moved from our North Saanich location April 2024 into Esquimalt. We are currently only brewing on location (no onsite sales) with a planned tasting room estimated to open in 2025. In the meantime, find us at many farmers markets and events, as well as in many private liquor stores, pubs and restaurants.

A refreshing light bodied Austrian amber lager made with BC malted barley and local hops.
A light bodied ale with raspberries, ginger, lemongrass, and Noth Saanich Cascade hops.
A Belgian farmhouse ale made with cherries, sarsaparilla and cascade hops.
A dark Belgian farmhouse ale made with Metchosin pie pumpkins and Kabocha squash, lightly tart and fruit forward, roasted with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and brown sugar. Perfect for Autumn!
A British brown ale with notes of chocolate and caramel, made with historic hops from the North Saanich Towner hops farm.
